Matt Damian is a seasoned industry professional, bringing nearly two decades of commercial lending and credit risk management experience to Artes Capital. During his career, Matt has focused on originating real estate and construction loan relationships, as well as building high performing teams and developing critical infrastructure within the banking firms he managed. Outside of his professional roles, Damian has been a managing partner and investor in several successful value-add commercial real estate projects. “My goal with any project or interaction is simple; leave it better than I found it,” says Damian. “Sometimes that means contributing individually, and sometimes that means connecting others who can add more value than I can. Either way, everyone wins.”

In addition to receiving a bachelor’s degree and MBA from the CSU system, Matt is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School. He is also very active in the Boys & Girls Clubs organization in his hometown, serving in various roles over the years including Chairman of the Board and Finance Committee Chair. Matt enjoys spending time traveling with his wife and young son, trying new escape rooms, and rooting for his beloved Los Angeles Dodgers.
